The story is about Deepa ,a young graduate student who is in love with Sanjoy,a fellow student. He has already got a job and is more interested in his career and lacks punctuality and thoughtfulness though he is a nice guy. An interview for a job in a college makes Deepa land up in Dhaka where she comes across Nabin, her old flame in college. Nabin helps her with the intereview by using his contacts. Slowly she finds herself falling in love with him all over again as he is more considerate, thoughtful and caring. She is torn between two men. After coming to Kolkata,she comes to know that she has got the job. She comes back and discovers that Sanjoy has got a promotion. He is more worried about his own success and wants to know whether she has failed to get the job so that they can get the married. Deepa ponders.......
